Utilizing Loyalty Cards

How Do Members Use Loyalty Cards?

A member can pick up a loyalty card by tapping on the "Start saving for rewards" button. This will add the loyalty card to the member's account and pin it to their homepage. Note: A customer must have an account to pick up a loyalty card.

Any loyalty card that a member collects points for will automatically appear on their homepage.

Accumulating Points

To earn points for their purchases, members must present their loyalty card which features a QR code that the staff scans. Staff will then enter the purchase amount, which is automatically converted to points based on the rules set for that particular card. Members can read the "Rules and conditions" by locating the "Rules" tab under the card.

An email is sent to the member each time they are awarded points. Additionally, a list of transactions can be viewed under the "History" tab beneath the card.

Redeeming a Reward

To claim a reward, members must have accumulated enough points.

Eligible rewards that are unlocked are denoted by a green dot. A member can claim a reward by tapping the "Claim reward" button, which will generate a QR code for them to show to the staff.

Staff scans the QR code and validates the reward claim on their dashboard. The corresponding points are then deducted by the system from the member's account.

An email is sent to the member providing them with the transaction details. The member can also view their transaction list by locating the "History" tab below their card.

How Does the Redeeming of Points Work?

Points redemption works on a first-in, first-out basis meaning that points first earned are also used first when redeeming a reward.

Points from one transaction may be partially deducted to be used for a certain reward. This way, members can make the most out of their points and minimize wastage.

Each collection of earned points has an expiry date, determined by the date (timestamp) the corresponding transaction was made. The expiration starts from this date, encouraging members to use up their points on time and purchase often.
